Since 1946, Canfield Manufacturing Co. has been a quality industrial processor, fabricator and converter of hardwood and softwood lumber for the Steel, Locomotive, Battery, Foundry & Casting, and Electrical Industries. We offer an extensive selection of tree species, including Oak, Maple, Poplar, Cherry, Pine, and other wood products such as OSB, CDX Plywood, including Marine grade; in Green or Kiln-Dried specifications. Grades of lumber included FAS, FAS One Face, Selects, Number 1 Common, 2A and 2B common, and 3A and 3B Common.

Specializing in custom fabricated wood and composite products meeting the most stringent design criteria of our customers. We have the capabilities to drill, dado, rip, plane, sand, back cut and lathe almost any wood product, to your specifications. Our industrial lines of products include specialty guideboards used in the steel making process, slitter/tension boards used in the steel processing industry, battery box liners for banks of batteries, non-conductive buffers for the electrical industry, light-medium-heavy duty crates and packaging components, to custom laminations, few can perform.

Plastics and Composites

As a full-service distributor and fabricator of plastic products, we offer a full range of plastic materials and accessories for all your engineering, industrial and construction needs. Whether it needs cut, shaped, machined, laminated, welded or drilled, we have the equipment to complete the project. We stock or have access to nearly every type of plastic, whether its sheet, rod or tube, including Micarta materials.

• GUIDE BOARDS

  All of our kiln-dried maple guide boards are custom made to our mill customer specifications.

• SLITTER BOARDS

  Our slitter boards are produced using the finest hardwoods and softwoods, providing superb quality in processing lumber for processed steel.

• MAPLE HARDWOOD DOWELS

  Our custom sizes range from 1/8" to 2-3/4" diameter and up to 12 feet in length.

• CUSTOM LAMINATIONS

  We laminate kiln-dried hard and soft wood products ranging from 1” to 12” in thickness and 1” to 24” in width.

• SPECIAL TURNING

  We offer custom turnings that go up to 8” in diameter and up to 4 feet in length.

• WHEEL CHOCKS

  With or without handles.
